All the affairs pertaining to hostel are administered by the respective wardens under the supervision of provost office. Matters related to student`s comfort, studies, atmosphere, hygiene, co-curricular and extra- curricular activities are carried out in a meticulous manner. For the pursuance of academic excellence, student`s facilitation cannot be overlooked, therefore, AWKUM has established a large number of hostels to accommodate students of remote areas and make them feel at home. In addition to ten student`s, two faculty hostels were also inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali, Vice-chancellor, AWKUM.
Hostel being an essential part of University is, therefore, managed with extra care.
In order to ensure student`s facilitation, a committee (Hostel committee) has also been framed on the directives of the honorable Vice-chancellor. The committee is supervised by the provost office and the following responsibilities are assigned to it.
Economizing overall expenses
Ensuring the cleanliness of the hostel
Arranging co-curricular, extracurricular and literary activities
Maintaining overall discipline on the hostel
