The AWKUM Pabbi campus has been approved on 24th of August, 2011. From the early stage the campus has announced admissions in two disciplines i.e. Management Sciences (BBA Hons) and Computer Sciences (BCS Hons).
According to the mission of the university to provide education facilities to the students at their door steps in urban as well as rural areas of the Province, and also it was the demand of the local People to have a university campus in their area, the higher authority of the university has approved the campus at Pabbi. It was baptized with Shaheed Rashid Hussain (The beloved son of Mr. Iftikhar Hussain Provincial Minister for Information KPK who was brutally killed by terrorists) and is called SRH campus Pabbi.
Introduction
Shaheed Rashid Hussain (S.R.H.) Campus, Pabbi Nowshera is the newly established campus of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. The Committee passed the approval of the S.R.H. campus in August, 2011 and proper functioning and commencement of regular classes took place from October, 2011.
The S.R.H. campus is located in the heart of Pabbi, on Nowshera to Peshawar G.T. Road. Formerly the building of the Campus was occupied by Government Primary School No 1, Pabbi then it was taken over by Government Girls High School, Pabbi. Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan acquire the Campus building on 19th September,2011, At that time the building was extremely damaged due to hit of flood water. University put all efforts together and restituted the campus in less than a month time.

Future of Campus:
The campus is in its development stages and yet not officially inaugurated. There are many of tasks that have to do in future. University is purchasing Books for library; the computer lab installation process is in progress. The transport facility has been started by the campus comprising of 2 Mini Buses and 1 Hiace (As shown in Figure 14). Presently, the service is available for Mardan, Nowshera and AkoraKhattak. The officials are working to improve the facility of transport and to start the service to Peshawar and Jahangira as well.
The university is also working on a task to start MCS / MBA classes from next year which will be great achievement of the campus in petite time.
