Anbar Campus of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan has been upgraded into a full-fledge University (University of Swabi).
The idea engineered by Prof. Dr Ihsan Ali, Vice-Chancellor, AWKUM, related to the establishment of regional campuses of AWKUM was appreciated by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The effective administration and progressive thinking took the campus to such heights that the Honourable Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti, wholeheartedly upgraded it into a University.
