Mr. Ashraf Ali joined Law department Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan on dated            26/02/2010 as Assistant Professor of law before joining Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan he worked for ten years as a Civil Judge in different region of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa. Soon After joining AWKUM as Assistant Professor of law andkeeping in view his past Judicial experiencehe was also assigned the charge of Incharge Legal Cell he assist the University on all Legal/Judicial matters. Mr. Ashraf Ali is the overall incharge of legal cell and representsAWKUM in Lower Courts in Civil Suits as well as in High Court Peshawar in Writ Petition.

Brief introduction:

Soon after the establishment of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan the legal cell was properly open to pursue the legal matters of the university in different Courts under the headship of Prof of Law Ashraf Ali. The university appoints two legal Advisers Iqbal Khan Advocate and Himayat Ullah Mayar Advocate to Plead University Cases at district court level and Qazi Muhammad Anwar a senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to plead University Cases/writ petition at High court and Supreme CourtLevel. Currently university has Eighty one (81)cases at lower court Mardan and Eleven (11) writ petitions pending before Peshawar High Court Peshawar.
